Since 1968, I AM (formally the Autistic Society Greater Manchester Area [ASGMA]) has been helping autistic people in Greater Manchester.

It’s our mission to help as many people as we can in whatever way we can. Without our amazing and dedicated staff, this simply wouldn’t be possible.

We’re always on the lookout for bright, committed people with a diverse set of skills and experience to join I AM and help support autistic people to reach their full potential.

Work for Us

As part of our team, you’ll be helping to transform the lives of autistic people in the Greater Manchester area.

Our mission is to create communities of support across Greater Manchester for people on the autistic spectrum which enable personal and professional development, and to focus on unlocking potential, creating opportunities and giving our members a sense of personal freedom and choice.

In other words, we are absolutely passionate about supporting people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), who are over the age of 10 years, and we love what we do. Everyone that works for us has a chance to be part of something that is more than just a job, everyday we make a positive difference to people.

We are a small charity and are based in Stretford but much of our work takes place out and about across Greater Manchester so you can be sure that there are always lots of things going on. Working for us means you will be busy, but we can guarantee that you will be a part of something that is fulfilling and satisfying. We are in the business of changing lives, but don’t take our word for it, watch our video (above) to see what our members have to say about us.

If you are interested in joining I AM have a look at the roles listed on this page and get in touch either give us a call on 0161 866 8483 or email your CV to enquiries@i-am-autism.org.uk
