I-AM would like to say a massive thank you to Damian Thompson for raising nearly £900 for us.
Damian completed the Manchester to Blackpool cycle ride that attracts over 4,000 cyclists. Although the official event was cancelled, due to Covid-19, Damian still went ahead with his challenge anyway. He set off from Old Trafford and finished at Blackpool Tower.
Damian is an I-AM member and the money raised will be used to support the work of the Youth club,
“My son attends the youth clubs at I-AM which he really enjoys and has day trips out to places all over the northwest, the youth club is a friendly and relaxing with various rooms for them to either chill out, play games like pool and draw & interact with other children young people”. Damian’s Dad
Damian’s challenge was not without its setbacks but despite having a blowout at Kirkham he still managed to complete the final 15 miles.
