We got a fantastic surprise from one of our business neighbours in November. 

Georgie Grzesiak who runs the wonderful Uplift Café in Stretford Mall  (soon to be Stretford Town Centre) contacted us to let us know that we had been chosen as their Charity of the Month by their Uplift Knitters, who meet every week at the café. 

Previously they had raised money for MacMillian Cancer Support, The British Legion, and Mind, so it was an honour to have been chosen by them. We are pleased to annouce they raised a total of £200 for us, so a huge thank you to Georgie and all the amazing knitters and people who donated. 

Uplift Café is a family-run café set up in 2019 by husband and wife team Georgie and her husband Paul and their four children.
