On Sunday, 16th February, Wes Auden will be running the Hale 10K to raise crucial funds for this fantastic charity. I AM (formerly ASGMA) has dedicated itself to empowering the autistic community in Greater Manchester by providing vital services to individuals aged 10 and upwards. Whether it’s one-on-one support, group activities, or mental and physical health initiatives, I AM ensures that people with autism, along with their families, guardians, and carers, receive the help they need to live fulfilling lives.
Why I’m Running
My connection with I AM spans nearly 15 years – including nine years as a Trustee and three years as Chair of Trustees. Over the years, I’ve witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact this organization has on the people it supports. Now, I’m taking on this personal challenge to raise funds that will help I AM expand its reach, develop more services, and create opportunities for autistic individuals to gain meaningful employment and independence.
