In August we set sail with our friends at New Horizons for a day cruise on the captivating Macclesfield Canal. 

Boarding at Lock 16 on the Marple Flight, we travelled along the 192 year old canal at a steady 4 miles per hour, passing through green and rural surroundings, dotted with Victorian mills and warehouses along the way adding a distinctive character to the route.

The day was the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle & bustle of town and enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Macclesfield Canal.
