On Sunday, 23 June, our incredible I AM Community Voice members and their families laced up their walking shoes to raise funds for autistic families in Greater Manchester.
This year’s sponsored walk took place at the beautiful Heaton Park, where eight members trekked roughly three miles through scenic – and occasionally challenging – terrain. The highlight of the day? Reaching the top of the hill by the hall and celebrating with well-earned ice creams! Along the way, smiles and laughter were abundant, capped off with a visit to the animal centre where Peter and Christopher made some furry friends.

The event wasn’t just about walking; it was a celebration of community and connection. Together, the group raised an incredible £554 to support I AM’s vital work. Thanks to your generosity and their hard work, our JustGiving campaign was a resounding success, helping us continue to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
Thank You!
A huge thank-you to everyone who walked, donated, and cheered us on! Events like this remind us of the power of coming together to create change and show how every step – big or small – can make a lasting impact.
